Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining food safety and quality management systems within a wet production environment processing beef and chicken.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all food safety and quality assurance systems within the wet production plant
Ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards (HACCP ISO 22000 FSSC GMP SOPs)
Oversee raw material in-process and finished product quality for beef and chicken operations
Manage audits (internal external regulatory and customer) and close out corrective actions
Monitor hygiene sanitation and environmental controls in wet processing areas
Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality incidents
Train and coach production teams on food safety hygiene and quality standards
Manage QA documentation records specifications and traceability systems
Work closely with Production Maintenance and Supply Chain to embed quality at every stage

Food safety leadership in wet processing environments
Regulatory and audit readiness
Continuous improvement mindset
Strong communication and training capability
Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operation
Key Qualifications:
Degree in Food Science Food Technology Microbiology or a related field
Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance within a wet food production environment
Proven experience with beef and/or poultry processing
Strong working knowledge of HACCP GMP food safety legislation and audit processes
Experience managing QA teams in a high-volume production environment
Strong attention to detail problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
