RN - PCU/IMC | Permanent Role

Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: Day/Night Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

• Provide direct compassionate and safe nursing care to PCU/IMC patients.
• Perform patient assessments develop individualized plans of care and implement and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications monitor vital signs and manage patients requiring complex nursing interventions.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Document patient status care provided and response to treatment accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies regulatory requirements and professional standards.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• ADN required
• Active RN license in the state of Texas
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer
• Additional specialty certifications (e.g. ACLS)
• Minimum one year of experience in acute care PCU IMC step-down or telemetry
