RN Rehab Permanent Role Location: Waco TX 76712
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize needs
- Develop implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Adjust care plans to achieve patient goals
- Build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families
- Educate patients families nurses and community members to improve health choices
- Assess and document patient and family learning needs on an ongoing basis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community partners
- Delegate tasks thoughtfully and follow up to ensure quality outcomes
- Recognize personal limitations and prioritize patient safety quality and efficiency
- Participate in teamwork professional growth and development activities
- Support the development of peers and demonstrate commitment to community service
Key Success Factors: - Strong understanding of nursing standards patient care procedures and rehabilitation practices
- Knowledge of nursing laws rules and guidelines in Texas
- Proficiency with hospital procedures and workflows
- Familiarity with health and disease prevention medication effects and patient education
- Adherence to nursing ethics and respect for patient confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and social skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office email EMR scheduling systems payroll systems)
Qualifications: - Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Field of study: Nursing
- Current RN license (Texas)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
