RN - Telemetry | Permanent Role

Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: Day/Night Rotate
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting following established nursing processes and protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly respond to any abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan implement and evaluate patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately timely and completely in the electronic health record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions within scope of practice.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN required)
• Active and unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
