RN Operating Room Permanent Role Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: Clinical Judgment:
- Conducts accurate standards-based patient assessments using clinical reasoning
- Identifies and prioritizes patient and family needs
- Develops implements and evaluates nursing care plans
- Modifies care plans to achieve targeted outcomes
Clinical Inquiry:
- Evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice including nursing indicators
- Supports evidence-based practice through participation in research and learning opportunities
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives
Caring Practices:
- Fosters an attentive helpful and therapeutic environment for patients families and staff
- Builds and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients and families while maintaining professional boundaries
- Manages emotional and physical pain to promote healing and prevent unnecessary suffering

Qualifications: - Education: Graduate of an accredited RN program (Nursing)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of OR (Operating Room) nursing experience
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or compact license)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire/transfer)
