RN Dialysis Permanent Role Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 10 HR Days 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
Essential Functions: - Support staff and management in developing reliable measurable patient safety and quality standards.
- Identify and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for quality assurance and patient safety.
- Assist medical staff with quality improvement initiatives and address peer review management issues.
- Recognize process variations and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize quality assessment tools (e.g. flow charts failure analysis run charts statistical control) to evaluate processes.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders to develop and present reports on patient safety and quality.
- Contribute to annual program assessments including preparation of reports on safety and quality.
- Participate in the Peer Review Program assisting with data collection and aggregation during appointment and reappointment periods.
- Coordinate with Risk Management to protect the confidentiality of research data.
Key Success Factors: - Practical experience in project management with quality tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with key regulatory and quality organizations such as The Joint Commission Institute for Healthcare Improvement NAHQ and NCQA.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data.
- Effective communication skills to share learnings and updates across the organization.
Qualifications: - Associates degree or equivalent (required).
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience (required).
