Job Description
RN - Intensive Care Unit Permanent Role
- Location: Lakeway TX 78738
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
- Perform detailed patient assessments and document findings
- Develop and continuously update individualized plans of care
- Foster professional relationships with patients and families
- Educate patients families staff and community members
- Identify and document learning needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve care goals
- Delegate tasks appropriately and follow up
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills in patient care
- Support peers through teamwork and mentorship
- Contribute to quality improvement and community service initiatives
- In-depth understanding of nursing standards patient care principles and local/state nursing laws
- Familiarity with hospital policies standards and procedures
- Proficiency in medical terminology disease management medications and side effects
- Respect for ethical principles and patient privacy rights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse populations
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office electronic medical records and hospital scheduling/payroll systems
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid RN license in the state of Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
