RN/Float Pool Permanent Role

Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and compassionate patient care across assigned units (e.g. Med Surg Telemetry)
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments per hospital policy
• Administer medications manage IVs and monitor patients according to physician orders
• Accurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition initiating appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with physicians allied health and other nursing staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans medications and discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality and safety initiatives
• Float to various units as needed based on staffing demands
• Adhere to all policies procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure safe high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license (Texas state)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• 1 years of US experience as a Registered Nurse
• 2 years of Med Surg or Med Telemetry experience in an acute care inpatient hospital setting
• Float Pool experience
