Job Description
Structural Component Systems Inc. of Fremont NE is actively seeking a positive and energetic full-time Warehouse Manufacturing Materials Coordinator to ensure the effective and smooth running of the day-to-day plant operations. This administrative position works Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with a one hour lunch and NO WEEKENDS and earns a competitive wage based on experience in the construction industry.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE MANUFACTURING MATERIALS COORDINATOR
Each day you will be responsible for coordination of all wall department non-stock special and fire treated materials relative to inventory ordering packaging delivery receiving distribution and returns. This includes the following:
- Coordination of ordering and delivery of wall non-stock materials.
- Receiving confirming and distribution of non-stock materials.
- Return overage of non-stock materials to main warehouse.
- Inventory of treated and non-stock material.
- Communicate effectively with purchasing department for optimization of treated material utilization and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with departmental supervisors.
- Assist with weekly cycle counting and inventory as directed.
- Effectively utilize the SCS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure compliance and accuracy of SCS inventory and successfully resolve WMS issues as they arise.
- Assist with Timber mill saw cutting coordination
- Operate forklift as needed
Construction knowledge and/or component manufacturing experience a plus! !
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in Logistics
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Must be self-motivated and have strong initiative
- Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communications skills (English required)
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Basic reading and mathematical skills (addition subtraction multiplication division)
- Good organizational planning and time management skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills including comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel Word
- Ability to lift (with hands and arms) up to 105 lbs on an occasional basis and be able to bend stoop squat stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Forklift experience preferred
- Building material (lumber sheathing engineered wood product) knowledge preferred
- Prior experience working in Warehouse Management System (WMS) software preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma preferred
