Job Summary

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to support the Sales and Marketing team by planning and implementing growth strategies for the Immunology product portfolio. The role focuses on expanding market presence introducing new technologies strengthening customer relationships and driving sales growth within the laboratory sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve product portfolio growth.
  • Prepare and manage expenditure budgets for marketing and promotional activities.
  • Implement corporate sales strategies and execute plans within approved budget guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and large accounts.
  • Plan and conduct product promotion activities including pocket meetings and customer engagement programs.
  • Maintain and manage the customer database categorized by product focus.
  • Identify potential customers and initiate sales activities based on market plans.
  • Develop product promotion plans and annual market activity strategies.
    Formulate category targets based on market growth potential and
  • new product innovations.
  • Coordinate with principals for product introductions partnership strategies and operational activities.
  • Monitor shipment status samples demo units and promotional materials.
  • Negotiate pricing strategies to maximize market potential.
  • Identify key decision-makers and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and principals to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Work closely with sales tender logistics regulatory and after-sales teams to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize promotional activities and training programs to support sustainable sales growth.
  • Prepare and present departmental reports and performance statistics to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (BSc) or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) qualification.
  • MSc qualification (completed or currently studying) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in the laboratory or healthcare sector.
  • Strong communication presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
  • Good analytical and strategic planning skills.
