Job Summary
Job Brief
We are looking for a highly organized Software Project Manager to coordinate and oversee the progress of our software development projects. The ideal candidate should have a detailed understanding of software development methodologies excellent team management skills and the ability to track and control project scope time and budget to ensure the successful delivery of our software projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Create detailed project plans including timelines resource allocation and milestones.
- Track project progress ensuring it stays on schedule and within budget.
- Manage and coordinate the efforts of the software development team.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders providing regular updates.
- Identify address and resolve issues and risks that may affect the project.
- Ensure projects comply with best practices and standards.
- Conduct reviews to identify areas for improvement in future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Software Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
- 8 Years of experience in project management
- Solid technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA Microsoft Project or similar.
Work Environment
- Location: Colombo Sri Lanka WFO
- Travel: Some travel may be required for team meetings or client consultations.
