Job Summary
We are looking for a Chief Insurance Officer responsible for the end-to-end P&L strategic direction technical underwriting and product development of the insurance portfolio. Oversee risk management regulatory compliance and reinsurance strategies while driving growth through innovative products and market expansion.

Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop long-term strategies for product development pricing and market positioning to achieve profitability and growth.
- Technical Underwriting & Risk: Oversee underwriting policy risk assessment standards and portfolio management to minimize bad debts and ensure solvency.
- Reinsurance & Capital Management: Manage reinsurance partnerships and capital adequacy to comply with regulatory requirements (e.g. IPEC local authorities).
- Cognitive Flexibility & Agility: Adapting to rapid industry changes such as climate-related risks and technological shifts.
- Operational Oversight: Guide claims management policy administration and operational efficiency ensuring technology adoption.
- Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships with board members regulators key clients and partners.
Key Skills:
- 12 years of senior executive experience in P&C or technical insurance roles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or Actuarial Science;
- MBA or Masters preferred.
- Insurance professional qualifications like are a strong advantage.
