ICT Officer

We are looking for an ICT Officer with strong software development skills to join our clients team.

Salary and Benefits:

• USD 1300 - 1600 Gross

• Ensure high availability reliability and scalability of network and server infrastructure.
• Oversee hardware lifecycle management including servers desktops laptops and peripherals.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using advanced diagnostic and monitoring tools.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Develop and enforce ICT security policies including endpoint protection firewalls and intrusion detection.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular security audits vulnerability assessments and risk mitigation planning.
• Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and resolve complex user issues.
• Deliver ICT training onboarding and awareness programs to enhance digital literacy.
• Maintain a knowledge base of system configurations troubleshooting guides and user documentation.
• Review and manage ICT contracts vendor SLAs and licensing agreements.
• Support ICT budgeting procurement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to improve organisational efficiency.
• Conduct research on new ICT trends and provide strategic advisory services to management.
• Lead ICT projects including system upgrades cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives.
• Configure and integrate new applications and services with existing systems to ensure seamless interoperability.
• Administer user accounts permissions and identity management systems (e.g. Active Directory Sage 200).
• Manage internet access connectivity and liaise with ISPs for service optimisation.
• Deploy and monitor antivirus endpoint protection and secure remote access solutions.
• Generate periodic performance incident and compliance reports for management review.
