Job Description

We are looking for a Database Administrator.This position willbefull-timeand Onsite Bangalore.


What Youll Do

  • Design data models based on requirements/SRS/HLD/LLDs using tools like ERWIN etc.
  • Ability to create ERDs.
  • Clarity w.r.t Conceptual Logical & Physical data models.
  • Provision Postgres/MySQL instances both in clustered and non-clustered configurations.
  • Managing and Administering Cloud based relational Database solutions.
  • Have strong experience on configuring and troubleshooting of primary/replica configurations in clustered and non-clustered environment.
  • Data migration from on-premises databases to Cloud based database platforms.
  • Be a contributor to the database Projects team.
  • Design & Implement Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Solutions for database systems.
  • Production Support model on call basis for critical incident handling and emergency support (24X7).
  • Strong experience in database administration and production support tasks including Replication SQL Optimization & Tuning Monitoring Backup/Recovery Troubleshooting and Database Security on large Database environments.
  • Exposure to AWS technology Stacks with experience in provisioning
  • Experience in Performance Tuning and troubleshooting complex database issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and governance frameworks. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues implementing proactive measures to mitigate these within the scope.

What Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree in IT or Equivalent.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience as Database Designer/Administrator
  • Data modelling using tools like ERWIN
  • Postgres Database Administration on cloud preferably AWS Aurora
  • Desired Skills:
  • MySQL Database Administration o Oracle Database Administration o
  • Exposure to SQL & PL/SQL shell scripting etc.

  • Organization: Strong multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.

Physical Demands

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor.
