Job Description
Permanent RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide direct nursing care during labor delivery and immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor fetal heart rates maternal vital signs and labor progress.
- Assist physicians with delivery including cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
- Administer medications and manage IVs as needed.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process.
- Respond to emergency situations using sound clinical judgment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for mother and baby.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Preferably in a Level III or higher facility.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- RN License Active and Valid in Texas
- BLS Basic Life Support (AHA or Red Cross)
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
