Job Description
Location: Brenham TX 77833
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Deliver safe compassionate and coordinated nursing care in a fast-paced Med Surg unit.
- Assess monitor and document patient conditions responses to treatment and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses procedures medications and discharge plans.
- Adhere to infection control standards and patient safety protocols.
- Respond effectively in emergency situations and assist with code responses when needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN).
- Current Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification-required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- Prior Med-Surg nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking communication and interpersonal skills.
