Job Description
Location: Irving TX 75061
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Monitor vital signs and assess mother and babys condition regularly.
- Assist with breastfeeding support and provide infant care education.
- Administer medications and postpartum treatments per physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians lactation consultants and pediatric staff.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Promote a safe supportive and family-centered care environment.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Specialized field of study: Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Experience in a Mother Baby/Postpartum unit.
- Strong communication assessment and teaching skills.
