Job Description

Permanent RN Mother Baby Night Shift

Location: Irving TX 75061
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess mother and babys condition regularly.
  • Assist with breastfeeding support and provide infant care education.
  • Administer medications and postpartum treatments per physician orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians lactation consultants and pediatric staff.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.
  • Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
  • Promote a safe supportive and family-centered care environment.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Specialized field of study: Nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Experience in a Mother Baby/Postpartum unit.
  • Strong communication assessment and teaching skills.
