Job Description
Location: Waxahachie TX 75165
Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
- Develop implement evaluate and modify individualized care plans.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Provide patient and family education to promote informed healthcare decisions.
- Document clinical data and patient education accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and ensure proper follow-up.
- Promote patient safety and continuously assess care effectiveness.
- Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Participate in community health efforts and patient advocacy.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing principles patient care standards and clinical procedures.
- Understanding of state-specific nursing laws rules and guidelines.
- Strong grasp of disease prevention pharmacology and medication side effects.
- Respect for patient privacy and professional nursing ethics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams and patients.
- Critical thinking and effective problem-solving ability.
- Competency in using basic computer applications (Microsoft Office EHR email etc.).
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
