Job Description
Permanent RN Float Pool Night Shift
Location: Waco TX 76712
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care based on patient and family needs.
- Develop implement and adjust individualized nursing care plans for optimal outcomes.
- Create and maintain a safe supportive environment for patients families and colleagues.
- Provide physical and emotional support to aid in healing.
- Integrate patients diverse backgrounds values and preferences into care strategies.
- Educate patients families and staff continuously and evaluate learning progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team and community partners to implement care plans.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to support team functionality and patient outcomes.
- Practice resourceful problem-solving and prioritize efficient quality care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to community health initiatives.
- Solid knowledge of nursing practices standards and procedures.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements.
- Familiarity with health promotion illness prevention and chronic disease management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using electronic medical records and general computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program OR two (2) years of relevant nursing experience.
- Degree must be in Nursing.
- Minimum two (2) years of RN experience is required.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
