Job Description
Permanent RN Transplant Night Shift
Location: Dallas TX 75246
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Provide skilled nursing care to transplant patients during night shift hours.
- Monitor patient progress vital signs and lab results for early signs of complications.
- Administer medications including immunosuppressants and manage complex IV therapies.
- Educate patients and families about transplant care medications and post-discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with transplant surgeons physicians pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Ensure a safe clean and supportive environment for patients.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Education: Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Licensure:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas).
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Transplant or Critical Care).
- Certification:
- BLS-Basic Life Support (Required within 30 days of hire).
