Job Description
Location: Lakeway TX 78738
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform detailed and ongoing patient assessments.
- Identify actual and potential health problems.
- Develop implement and continuously evaluate care plans.
- Adjust nursing interventions to meet expected outcomes.
- Foster professional and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients families and community members to promote health and wellness.
- Delegate nursing tasks appropriately and monitor outcomes.
- Document all care patient status and responses accurately.
- Prioritize safety efficiency and effectiveness in care delivery.
- Contribute to a team environment and support peer development.
- Participate in community service and continuous professional development.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Field of study: Nursing.
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
- In-depth knowledge of nursing standards laws and healthcare procedures.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology disease management and medication side effects.
- Adherence to nursing ethics and patient privacy rights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse patients and staff.
- Effective critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using computers for documentation scheduling and communication.
