Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Deliver direct patient care to oncology patients in accordance with the nursing process.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and response to treatment.
- Administer medications and manage chemotherapy per hospital protocol and physician orders.
- Collaborate with oncologists specialists and interdisciplinary teams for patient-centered care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans.
- Maintain safety comfort and dignity of patients at all times.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition.
- Accurately document care and patient progress in the medical record.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license (Texas state).
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)-must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current.
