Job Description
Location: Temple TX 76508
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with the nursing process and hospital policies.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs promptly responding to changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physicians and support staff.
- Administer medications perform treatments and document all care accurately in the medical record.
- Provide emotional and educational support to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergencies and function effectively under pressure.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Texas RN License (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in telemetry or med-surg
- Strong assessment critical thinking and clinical skills
