Job Description
Direct - Hire / Full Time
About:
Seeking a Plant Accountant to manage financial operations in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include budgeting forecasting cost analysis inventory oversight and financial reporting while ensuring compliance and supporting plant leadership in driving efficiency and profitability. Reports to the Business Unit Controller.
Qualifications:

Prepare financial statements and conduct variance/cost analysis

Manage budgets forecasts and capital expenditure planning

Track KPIs for production cost and inventory

Maintain cost accounting systems and perform standard cost/variance analysis

Oversee inventory tracking and reconciliation
-
Ensure policy compliance and support audits

Partner with plant teams on financial insights and cost-saving initiatives

Provide guidance on capital projects
Requirements:
-
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
-
2 3 years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)

Strong knowledge of GAAP cost accounting and financial reporting

Proficient in Excel; familiarity with SQL PowerQuery a plus

Experience with Oracle NetSuite SAP or SysPro preferred
