Job Summary

Job Title: Accountant
Job Location: Pleasant Prairie WI

Job Description:

Lead monthly close for one to two plants ensuring timely and accurate financial statements

Review and record inventory transactions; analyze variances and report results

Process weekly payroll through a third-party provider (Paychex or similar)

Manage accounts payable including vendor invoice processing three-way match and approvals

Enter approved invoices into ERP system and process weekly check runs

Assist with year-end close and external audit reviews

Support general accounting operations such as cash application pricing updates reconciliations and related tasks

Collaborate with Accounting Manager on special projects and initiatives

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required

0 4 years of accounting experience

Experience with ERP systems and general ledger management preferred

Payroll system experience (Paychex ADP etc.) a plus

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables look-ups report formatting)

Understanding of GAAP and accounting procedures

Manufacturing/cost accounting experience a plus

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Proactive self-starter and team-oriented
