The role:
We are seeking a Corporate Head Chef to join our Office Operations team to be based in Brisbane.
As part of this role you will be responsible for ensuring that menus are thoughtfully planned in line with allocated budgets seasonal availability and nutritional balance. Additionally you will ensure that a comprehensive list of dietary options is readily available to accommodate clients and staff with specific dietary requirements.
You will maintain strong and effective relationships with our preferred suppliers to ensure consistent service and quality. You will assist with daily ordering processes and oversee the delivery of stock ensuring that all items are checked rotated appropriately and that stock rotation procedures are consistently followed by all staff.
Quality control is a key focus with all food leaving the kitchen expected to meet established standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A minimum of 5 years industry experience as a Head Chef.
Well rounded experience in a comparable role.
Ability to supervise staff and give direction.
Vast knowledge of food preparation.
Knowledge of current and future food trends
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle pressure.
Flexibility with regards to overtime for morning and evening functions.
