Job Summary

We are looking for a Van Sales Head to oversee the management of 80 vans countrywide servicing a consumer base of approximately 200000 with a strong focus on efficiency automation and informal sector engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive channel-focused sales execution across 80 vans nationwide
  • Develop and implement targeted distribution strategies for the vendors and informal market
  • Lead the transition from general trade to focused distribution models
  • Spearhead the rollout of a vendor-facing sales app
  • Ensure seamless integration between sales operations and IT systems
  • Champion vendor onboarding and incentivization to drive app adoption
  • Oversee order processing delivery coordination and cash collection via the app
  • Design and optimize van routes for efficiency and coverage
  • Conduct market mapping data collection and gap analysis to identify underserved areas
  • Build deep familiarity with the Zimbabwean consumer landscape and informal trade dynamics
Key Skills:
  • Minimum 8 10 years in FMCG sales and distribution preferably with a multinational
  • Strong route-to-market and informal sector experience
  • Proven success in managing large-scale van operations and digital sales platforms
Qqualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing Management/Business Management or related.
