Job Description

Embat is in a significant growth phase and needs an experienced and talented Head of SDRs to build the most powerful top of the funnel engine in our industry in our 3 core countries: Spain UK and DACH. The ideal candidate will be both a hands-on operator and a strong leader who thrives on building high-performing teams maximizing their impact through smart and innovative use of AI driving pipeline creation and elevating the standards of our sales development motion. This role is pivotal in shaping the top of Embats revenue funnel and ensuring that our sales development organization scales with excellence.

As the Head of SDRs you will act as a key leader within our Go To Market team combining people leadership operational excellence and strategic guidance. Beyond leading the team you will establish world-class outbound processes ensure high-quality pipeline generation and create a culture of performance learning and ambition that aligns with Embats mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Inspire coach and mentor SDRs to reach and exceed performance goals.

  • Own your teams professional growth engagement and well-being through 1:1s career development plans and constructive feedback.

  • Build a culture of accountability curiosity and resilience where SDRs are motivated to thrive.

Outbound Strategy & Execution

  • Define and continuously refine Embats outbound sales strategy aligning closely with Sales Marketing and Revenue Operations.

  • Develop best-in-class prospecting playbooks cadences and messaging tailored to our ICP and buyer personas.

  • Lead by example in high-value prospecting activities ensuring the team learns from hands-on leadership.

Performance & Operational Excellence

  • Own pipeline creation targets tracking KPIs such as meetings booked qualified opportunities generated and conversion rates.

  • Implement scalable processes for territory management prospecting prioritization and reporting.

  • Partner with RevOps to optimize tooling (HubSpot Outreach/SalesLoft LinkedIn etc.) and deliver accurate dashboards.

  • Leverage AI whenever possible to empower the SDR team in the most effective and clever way

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as the bridge between SDRs AEs Marketing and Partnerships ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on goals.

  • Provide feedback from the front lines to influence GTM strategy campaigns and product-market fit insights.

  • Represent Sales Development at leadership level clearly communicating performance challenges and opportunities.

Talent Acquisition & Team Growth

  • Scale the SDR team by recruiting onboarding and developing top talent.

  • Define role expectations career progression paths and training programs to ensure a high bar of excellence.

  • Foster a diverse and inclusive team where collaboration drives results.

Job Objectives

Within 2 Months:

  • Gain deep understanding of Embats product ICP and outbound playbooks.

  • Build trust with your team through regular 1:1s and impactful coaching sessions.

  • Propose at least one major improvement to outbound processes (cadences ICP segmentation messaging etc.).

Within 4 Months:

  • Own the delivery of pipeline creation targets with measurable results.

  • Be recognized internally as the go-to person for all things outbound influencing GTM strategy with data-backed insights.

  • Actively contribute to hiring by shaping the SDR recruitment process and conducting candidate assessments.

Within 6 Months:

  • Scale the SDR function into a repeatable predictable and high-performing engine.

  • Consistently exceed pipeline generation goals and demonstrate tangible impact on revenue growth.

  • Establish a strong talent bench of SDRs ready to progress into future AE or RevOps roles.
