Overview
The Premier Leagues Legal Department is looking for an exceptional and experienced project manager to join its in-house Enforcement team on a four-month fixed term maternity cover. The Senior Project Manager - Enforcement will work with colleagues in the Enforcement Team across London Singapore and Beijing to deliver and coordinate events action plans and strategic projects.
The Enforcement teams core function is protecting and enforcing the Premier Leagues global intellectual property rights particularly in the exclusive audio-visual rights licensed to broadcasters around the world. This includes pursuing civil and criminal litigation against those involved in infringing the Premier Leagues intellectual property policy initiatives to ensure that adequate legislation and tools are available to enable such litigation and educational campaigns to raise awareness of the risks and harms associated with intellectual property theft.
The Enforcement team also manages the Premier Leagues trade mark portfolio and central anti-counterfeiting programme as well as advising the business on various IP-related issues that arise from time to time.
In addition the Enforcement team works to combat discriminatory and threatening online abuse aimed at Premier League players managers and others within the game. This includes legal actions against those identified as responsible for such abuse.

The role
- Managing the delivery of multiple key events and initiatives associated with the teams plans to mark 20 years of Anti-Piracy.
- Working with the team to develop and begin delivery of operational action plans for key broadcast partners in the 2026/27 Season.
- Supporting the Director of Legal Enforcement and Director of Content Protection in setting the teams priorities and objectives for the 2026/27 Season.
- Assisting with the planning delivery and launch of Boot Out Piracy for the 2026/27 Season.
- Managing post-event analysis and feedback related to the above projects.
Requirements for the role
- Project management qualification and/or several years of project management experience.
- Significant experience in the planning and delivery of events.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Budget management and reporting experience.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to think strategically and laterally in problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of IT systems and programmes (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ideally a familiarity with issues and challenges facing the Premier League particularly around piracy and the sports media landscape.
