Job Summary

Senior Account Manager ICT / ISP Sector Role Overview

Our client in the sales and marketing industry is looking for a Senior Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships drive revenue growth and ensure high-quality service delivery within a dynamic ICT and telecommunications environment.

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing high-value client accounts strengthening long-term relationships and ensuring customers receive maximum value from ICT and internet services. The role requires a commercially driven professional with strong strategic thinking excellent communication skills and solid experience in telecommunications or ISP environments.

Key Responsibilities 1. Client Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients

  • Act as the main point of contact for client queries escalations and service requirements

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support

2. Account Growth & Retention
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts

  • Collaborate with internal sales teams to implement retention and growth strategies

  • Monitor account performance and proactively address risks of churn

3. Strategic Account Planning
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and align ICT solutions accordingly

  • Develop tailored account strategies to support client growth and service optimisation

  • Provide insights based on client data usage trends and market developments

4. Service Delivery Oversight
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services in line with agreed service levels

  • Coordinate with technical operations and support teams to resolve service issues

  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and customer experience

5. Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance sales activity and client feedback

  • Use CRM systems to track interactions pipeline activity and account health

  • Analyse data to identify trends risks and growth opportunities

6. Market & Industry Knowledge
  • Stay informed on ICT ISP and telecommunications industry trends

  • Monitor competitor activity and emerging technologies

  • Share insights to support innovation and service improvements

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing ICT or related field (preferred)

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in account management or sales preferably within ISP or telecommunications environments

  • Proven track record of managing high-value accounts and achieving revenue targets

  • Strong understanding of ISP services including internet connectivity networking and cloud solutions

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
