JOB DESCRIPTION: AREA MANAGER (NORTHERN REGION)

1. JOB PURPOSE
Our client in the operations industry is looking for an Area Manager to oversee and drive efficient operations across multiple outlets with a strong focus on sales performance supply chain coordination and service delivery excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing operational strategies ensuring timely stock availability managing teams and supporting overall business growth objectives.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1 Strategy Development Business Growth & Implementation

Participate in the development and implementation of operational strategies policies and procedures to ensure safe and efficient business operations.

Develop targeted strategies for Partnership Assistants to improve sales performance against monthly and annual targets.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and profitability.
2.2 Management and Operations
-
Oversee daily operations across all outlets ensuring uninterrupted business activity.
-
Manage human resources customer relations facilities support services and IT functions within outlets.
-
Provide input to senior management on operational improvements and system enhancements.
-
Ensure efficient dispatch and delivery of goods from suppliers to outlets in line with SLAs.
-
Monitor sales performance across platforms to ensure operational consistency.
-
Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
2.3 Operations and Facilities Management
-
Ensure continuous review and improvement of operational procedures.
-
Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all outlets.
-
Ensure all facilities maintain valid operational licences and regulatory compliance.
2.4 Inventory Procurement & Logistics
-
Conduct weekly stock-takes and compile accurate sales and stock movement reports.
-
Submit consolidated stock reports to Finance and relevant departments.
-
Monitor stock movements and ensure timely replenishment across all outlets.
2.5 Supply Chain Management
-
Maintain optimal inventory levels across all outlets.
-
Ensure efficient replenishment scheduling and stock availability.
-
Supervise merchandising teams to ensure effective product display and competitiveness.
2.6 Quality Control (Bulk Oil)
2.7 Leadership and Supervision

Supervise Partnership Assistants including task allocation training and performance monitoring.

Address and resolve staff grievances and operational challenges promptly.
-
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend improvement measures.
-
Motivate teams to achieve optimal productivity and service delivery standards.

Monitor attendance and ensure accurate timesheet submission for payroll processing.
