Overview Our client an International security company is looking for an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee and manage the full financial function in Zambia. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance ensuring compliance and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the finance function including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and cash flow management
Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
Monitor financial performance and identify trends risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making
Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management
Manage mentor and motivate the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Oversee tax compliance and submissions with relevant authorities
Maintain and improve financial systems processes and internal controls
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
5 8 years relevant accounting or finance experience
Experience within the FMCG/Manufacturing or service industry is preferred
Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to analyse and synthesise large volumes of complex data into clear actionable insights
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
Good working knowledge of accounting systems smart invoicing platforms and payroll software
Completion of professional articles is advantageous
