Job Title: Finance Manager

Overview
Our client an International security company is looking for an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee and manage the full financial function in Zambia. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance ensuring compliance and providing strategic insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the finance function including financial reporting budgeting forecasting and cash flow management

• Prepare and analyse financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards

• Monitor financial performance and identify trends risks and opportunities to support strategic decision-making

• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management

• Manage mentor and motivate the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies

• Oversee tax compliance and submissions with relevant authorities

• Maintain and improve financial systems processes and internal controls

Key Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field

• 5 8 years relevant accounting or finance experience

• Experience within the FMCG/Manufacturing or service industry is preferred

• Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

• Proven ability to analyse and synthesise large volumes of complex data into clear actionable insights

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders

• Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint

• Good working knowledge of accounting systems smart invoicing platforms and payroll software

• Completion of professional articles is advantageous
