Job Summary
Our client is a well-established organisation within the agricultural sector and is seeking to appoint an Agronomy Manager to join its team. The position is based in Zambia and reports directly to the Agronomy Director. Applications are open to all nationalities.
Salary and Benefits:

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage large-scale crop production planning forecasting and budgeting.
- Develop implement and manage commercial grower cash flows and production budgets to ensure operational and financial targets are achieved.
- Conduct regular farm visits to monitor crop quality yields and overall performance providing practical agronomic advice and identifying potential risks.
- Ensure production volumes and loan recoveries are aligned with approved cash flows and performance targets.
- Build maintain and strengthen strong working relationships with growers and key value chain stakeholders.
- Manage departmental resources effectively to support operational efficiency.
- Lead manage and develop the agronomy team ensuring effective utilisation of human capital.

- Strong communication reporting and interpersonal skills.
- High level of computer literacy.

Qualifications:
- A university degree or diploma in Agriculture or a related field will be an advantage.
- A minimum of six years experience in large-scale crop production is required.
- Sound knowledge of large-scale commercial agriculture is essential.
