Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Shop Manager to join their team.
Salary:
Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to increase store traffic meet monthly sales goals and enhance continuous profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels order stock and ensure compliance with health safety and security regulations.
- Train mentor and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage store budgets update financial records and prepare reports on sales buying trends and customer requirements.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and queries professionally.
- Handle customer inquiries complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Manage stock levels conduct regular stock takes and ensure accurate inventory control
- Oversee ordering receiving and storage of goods
- Ensure compliance with company policies health and safety regulations
- Prepare reports on sales expenses and staff performance
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a retail manager or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a butchery or food manufacturing environment is an added advantage
- The role involves maintaining high operational standards ensuring the shop is clean well-stocked and visually appealing to customers
- A hands on leader with a positive work ethic
Qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- A minimum of 3 years experience working in a retail environment ideally in a managerial role.
