Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and hands-on Project Manager on a fixed-term contract to oversee steel fabrication and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple site teams managing work schedules and ensuring seamless alignment across various work fronts to deliver projects safely on time and within scope. This role requires strong on-site presence proactive problem-solving and the ability to drive progress through structured planning resource optimisation and daily operational oversight.

Responsibilities:

Oversee end-to-end project execution within the steel fabrication and construction environment.
Coordinate multiple teams on-site to ensure workflow alignment and productivity across work fronts.
Develop monitor and update detailed project schedules and track daily progress against milestones.
Allocate and manage labour equipment materials and subcontractor resources effectively.
Conduct daily site meetings to review progress resolve bottlenecks and ensure target adherence.
Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards.
Liaise with engineers contractors suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
Identify risks escalate potential delays and implement corrective action plans.
Monitor budgets and cost controls to ensure efficient project delivery.
Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and clients.

Key Skills:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within steel fabrication and/or construction.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple teams and subcontractors on active construction sites.
Strong understanding of fabrication processes structural steel erection and construction sequencing.
Experience in project scheduling and progress tracking.
Solid knowledge of health and safety standards in construction environments.
Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a hands-on capacity with strong site presence.
Strong execution and delivery focus
