- Develop and execute business acquisition retention and expansion strategies in liaison with the Managing Director.
- Conduct market research analyse trends and identify competitive advantages to inform strategic planning.
- Identify new markets regions and opportunities for business growth in line with set targets.
- Develop review and enhance products and marketing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Monitor industry trends competitor activity and regulatory changes to guide business decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients brokers and stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry events to strengthen networks and gather market feedback.
- Lead contract negotiations (terms pricing agreements) in collaboration with underwriting teams.
- Formulate and manage the business development budget.
- Establish KPIs generate sales pipeline/revenue reports and provide management insights.
Key Skills:
- 10 years of experience including 3 years in management.
- Strong strategic planning negotiation financial acumen leadership and communication skills.
- Results-driven innovative and able to perform under pressure
Qualifications:
- A degree in Insurance or in a related field.
- A professional insurance qualification will be an added advantage.
