Following a major philanthropic donation of 1.2m over 5 years to advance the Universitys enterprise and entrepreneurship offer weare looking for a creative and ambitious student to supportmarketing and communicationsactivitiesfor theRob Wood Enterprising Future Academy theCareers Serviceand the StudentLifeteam.
You will support the promotion of a range of projects and initiatives that:
We need an articulateandmotivatedstudent to work independently and as part of a team to ensure thatservices and events are effectively communicated to a wide range of students graduates academics and businesses.
Werelooking for an enthusiastic content creator - confident in front of a camera with an interest in video editing and experience in graphic design - to captureand editengaging student-led content for Instagram blogsnewslettersand more.
Youllhave an eagerness to learn new skills strong attention to detail a flair for writing engaging copy and will be an adept communicator who excels at planning and organising.
During your placementyou will gain experience in content creation social media management design video editing analytics market research and so much more all of which will support your future career.
You must be registered as a Newcastle University undergraduate student in 2026/2027 having completed the penultimate year of your undergraduate degree in any discipline by the placement start date of August/September 2026.
