Health and Safety Intern Winter Internship

Duration: 2 weeks (Winter Semester Break)

Labournet is offering an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Intern to gain practical hands-on experience during our Winter Internship Programme. This short-term programme is designed to provide exposure to workplace health safety and compliance practices within a dynamic and professional environment. We are seeking six interns with one position available at each of the following branch locations: Pretoria Durban Cape Town Bloemfontein Port Elizabeth and Johannesburg.

Key Learning Areas

• Exposure to occupational health and safety processes and legislative requirements
• Assisting with risk assessments inspections and safety audits
• Supporting the preparation and maintenance of health and safety documentation
• Gaining insight into compliance with health safety and environmental standards
• Observing and learning from experienced Health and Safety professionals

Qualifications :

• Currently studying towards the final year of a Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Safety Management Environmental Health Environmental Management or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism
