Overview

We are seeking an experienced Imaging Manager Radiology to lead a dynamic diagnostic imaging department in Bellevue WA. This role involves overseeing a team of approximately 40 staff across multiple imaging modalities in a unionized healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the radiology/imaging department
Supervise mentor and evaluate staff (including hiring and terminations)
Ensure compliance with clinical regulatory and safety standards
Oversee quality assurance and workflow efficiency
Collaborate with senior leadership and a counterpart senior manager
Support budgeting staffing and operational planning

Must-Have Qualifications

Nuclear Medicine experience (required)
Minimum 5 years as one of the following:
- Radiologic Technologist
- Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist
- Mammographer
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience:
- Direct reports management
- Performance reviews
- Hiring and termination responsibilities
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a related field OR
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic imaging program OR
- 4 years of directly related experience
- High School Diploma / GED required

Licensure / Certification (One Required)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Washington)
OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
OR Radiologic Technologist Certification
OR NMTCB Certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience managing 30 employees across multiple modalities
Background in acute care settings
Experience with:
- Budgeting & finance
- Six Sigma / process improvement
- Union environments (UFCW preferred)
