Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Factory Assistant Manager to join their team.
Salary:
Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for making sure that all stocks are stored correctly and all storage SOPs are adhered to
- Responsible for making sure all storage rooms are looked after and are always in clean and good working conditions.
- Responsible for making sure repairs and maintenances are done timeously
- Responsible for all stocks in the factory inventory physically and in the system.
- Responsible for making sure we have enough raw material and finished products at any given time
- Responsible for making sure stock movements in the system and physical are correct
- Responsible for making sure virtual locations are managed.
- Responsible for making sure no stock remain in non-storage locations (virtual) at end of each day
- Responsible for making sure inventory is within stipulated shelf life
- Responsible for making sure FIFO and FEFO is practiced religiously
- Responsible for making sure stock does not go bad in storage
- Shall work with the Cost Accountant in conducting monthend stock takes
- Assist in investigating any stock variances
- Taking necessary actions to avoid stock variances
- Responsible for making sure high product quality is maintained by proper product handling according to SOP
- Responsible for making sure laid down hygiene standards are followed
- Responsible for making sure staff are fully productive all the time
- Responsible for making sure they follow SOPs
- Responsible for managing staff leave
- Staff training
- Managing staff welfare
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of production processes and quality control
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering Manufacturing Operations Management or related field
