Our client a well-established player in the automotive industry is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores Clerk to join their team.
Salary:
Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and record incoming stock and materials
- Accurately pick pack and dispatch orders
- Maintain proper storage and organization of inventory
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock reconciliations
- Ensure all inventory records are updated and maintained accurately
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean safe and orderly store environment
- Liaise with internal departments and suppliers regarding stock requirements
Key Skills:
- Background in the automotive or spare parts industry is essential
- Good knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. Excel inventory systems)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in Logistics Supply Chain or related field is an added advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Stores Clerk or similar role in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials and tools.
