Job Summary

Our client a well-established player in the automotive industry is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stores Clerk to join their team.

Salary:

Negotiable

Responsibilities:

Receive inspect and record incoming stock and materials
Accurately pick pack and dispatch orders
Maintain proper storage and organization of inventory
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock reconciliations
Ensure all inventory records are updated and maintained accurately
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
Maintain a clean safe and orderly store environment
Liaise with internal departments and suppliers regarding stock requirements

Key Skills:

Background in the automotive or spare parts industry is essential
Good knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer literacy (e.g. Excel inventory systems)
Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications:

Relevant qualification in Logistics Supply Chain or related field is an added advantage.
Proven work experience as a Stores Clerk or similar role in a similar industry.
Knowledge of construction materials and tools.
