Job Summary

The Head of Automotive is responsible for leading and overseeing all automotive operations within the organization. This role involves strategic planning operational management business development and ensuring the efficient delivery of automotive services and products.

Salary:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall automotive business strategy aligned with the organizations goals.
Identify growth opportunities within the automotive sector including new markets partnerships and services.
Provide leadership and direction to automotive teams to achieve operational and financial targets.
Oversee daily operations of the automotive department including service maintenance fleet and technical functions.
Ensure efficient utilization of resources equipment and personnel.
Implement best practices to improve productivity quality and service delivery.
Develop and manage departmental budgets ensuring cost control and profitability.
Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and operational efficiency.
Prepare management reports on operational and financial performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients suppliers and external service providers.
Oversee customer service standards and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Represent the organization in industry engagements and partnerships.
Ensure all automotive operations comply with regulatory safety and environmental standards.
Implement and monitor safety procedures across workshops fleet operations and technical services.
Maintain accurate operational and compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering Business Management or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification or MBA is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 10 years experience in the automotive industry.
At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role.
