Our client is looking for a Financial and Investment Officer to join their team.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records for the Trust including bookkeeping reconciliations and financial statements.
- Oversee budgeting cash flow management and tax compliance in coordination with external accountants.
- Develop and execute an investment strategy aligned with the Trust s objectives and risk tolerance.
- Monitor and analyze investment performance asset allocation and market trends.
- Liaise with other staff members investment advisors fund managers and brokers to optimize portfolio returns.
- Manage key Trust-related projects such as real estate holdings business ventures or philanthropic initiatives.
- Coordinate with legal tax and operational teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Prepare and present detailed financial and investment reports to the Board of Trustees.
- Provide insights on financial performance risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with trust documents legal requirements and tax regulations.
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory filings.
- Implement best practices for governance and risk management.
- Perform any other duties related to the Trust and as maybe requested by the Trustees.
Key Skills:
- Familiarity with trust structures estate planning on-profits and tax-efficient strategies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with advisors and Trustees.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strategic mindset.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Xerox) and investment tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Proven track record in portfolio management and financial reporting.
- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field (CPACFA ACCA CIMA or MBA preferred).
- 5 years in accounting investment management and/or trust/non-profit administration.
