Position: Trade Compliance Specialist
Location: Swedesboro NJ - 08085
Duration: 6 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Summary:
The role serves as the TSA Principal Security Officer responsible for ensuring TSA compliance managing approved driver and shipper programs supporting audits and maintaining adherence to GMP standards within a pharmaceutical quality environment. The position is primarily administrative and office-based with occasional physical activity requirements.
Responsibilities - Lead TSA audits every three years and as required for cause.
- Serve as TSA Principal Security Officer collaborating with TSA personnel providing shipping documentation and supporting TSA facility walkthroughs.
- Manage IACMS and KSMS systems to maintain current TSA-approved drivers and TSA-recognized shippers.
- Train new hires and conduct refresher training on TSA compliance.
- Initiate TSA background checks for new employees.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Required Skills - Bachelors degree required.
- Strong hands on experience in TSA (Transportation Security Administration) compliance is required.
- Experience working directly with TSA personnel during audits and compliance reviews.
- Experience managing compliance-related systems (IACMS KSMS) preferred.
- Prior experience delivering compliance training programs preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and application of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) within pharmaceutical quality systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SOPs and policies within a GMP-regulated environment.
- Technical writing skills including authorship and report review experience.
- Ability to assess and communicate Quality Risk Management risks effectively.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check including a drug screening.
- Ability to perform physical requirements including standing bending reaching walking talking and lifting up to 20 lbs.
