Job Summary
GIS SPECIALIST
Work Location: Sacramento CA; ONSITE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform GIS mapping graphics and tabular data development.
- Assist in database design automation processing macros and analytical procedures.
- Maintain and update geodatabases.
- Review GIS outputs for data accuracy and adherence to end-user criteria.
- Assist with online GIS platforms.
- Maintain logs records and files.
- Provide GIS assistance to Government staff.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Related Experience
- Bachelors degree in geography natural sciences engineering or computer sciences.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of GIS production experience using ESRI software.
- Three (3) or more years of experience using Python and/or ModelBuilder.
- Successful completion (within the past two years) of ESRI training courses may substitute for portions of experience and/or time requirements.
- Current ArcGIS Desktop or Pro; Building Geodatabases or like coursework; Cartographic Production; ESRI 3D Creation/Analysis or Visualization coursework; Enterprise Geodata Management or like coursework; Modernizing your Field Workflows Using Fields for ArcGIS.
