- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the companys growth and revenue goals.
- Translate business objectives into clear marketing plans across consumer merchant and enterprise segments.
- Leadmentor and manage the marketing team and agency partners.
Customer Acquisition & Growth
- Drive user acquisition (sign-ups active users) through data-driven campaigns.
- Develop targeted marketing for key segments: individuals SMEs merchants and corporates.
- Optimize acquisition cost (CAC) and conversion funnels.
Go-to-Market Strategies
- Lead product launches (new features services integrations partnerships).
- Work closely with Product Sales and Operations to craft compelling value propositions.
- Translate technical products into simple customer-friendly messaging.
Brand Management & Positioning
- Own and strengthen the companys brand identity across all channels.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging tone and visual identity.
- Position the company as secure reliable innovative and customer-centric.
Customer Retention & Engagement
- Drive usage loyalty and retention through lifecycle marketing.
- Lead customer education initiatives (financial literacy product usage).
- Manage promotions rewards and engagement campaigns.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing (social media paid ads SMS USSD app campaigns).
- Use analytics to track performance and optimize ROI.
- Leverage customer data and insights to personalize campaigns.
Co-Branding & Co-Marketing
- Design marketing programs to acquire onboard and activate merchants.
- Support Sales teams with marketing tools campaigns and collateral.
- Develop co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners within the value chain.
Market Intelligence & Insights
- Monitor market trendscompetitors and customer behaviour.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategy and product positioning.
- Conduct customer research and brand health tracking.
Budgeting & Reporting
- Own the marketing budget and ensure efficient spend.
- Define and track KPIs (Cost per active customer active users Top of Mind Awarenessengagement ROI brand perception score).
- Provide regular performance reports to executive leadership.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Growth in active users and transaction volumes.
- Customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Brand awareness and preference metrics.
