Job Summary

We are looking for a Veterinarian to join our clients team. Must have experience with cattle.

Salary and Benefits:

Negotiable

Responsibilities:

Provide input into investigation of animal to determine the nature and cause of injury or death.
Working on infertile cows and treatment on anestrus cows
To advice on genetics and to advice on which bulls to use.
Good management skills to run the farm independently.
Develop health plans and vaccination schedule.
Should be able to diagnose pregnant heifers on the farm.
To advice on new vaccines and advising also on new antibiotics.
To handle postmortem and to detect the cause of death which will give a sound decision making within the organization.
Collaborate with farm management on animals welfare and production issues.
Monitoring of deworming schedule.

Key Skills:

Minimum of 5 years experience in the same field.
The ability to multi task in a high-pressure environment with exceptional accuracy
Ability to be quick and responsive in emergency situations
Passion for progressive dairy farming.

Qualification:

Degree in Veterinary Science
