The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with potential KS5 depending on specialism
Delivering engaging and structured lessons aligned with a sequenced curriculum
Supporting practical investigations and ensuring laboratory safety standards
Using assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
Contributing to departmental development and collaborative planning
Supporting whole-school academic improvement initiatives
Engaging pupils through enrichment and STEM-focused activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Biology Chemistry Physics or related discipline
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong classroom management and practical delivery skills
A commitment to raising standards and improving pupil outcomes
A collaborative and forward-thinking mindset
