The Role
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on specialism
Planning and delivering engaging well-structured lessons that promote deep conceptual understanding
Supporting pupils with practical investigations and examination preparation
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted intervention strategies
Contributing to STEM enrichment activities and extracurricular initiatives
Working collaboratively within a high-performing Science department
Supporting curriculum development and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in a Science subject or closely related field
Experience teaching Science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in Biology Chemistry or Physics
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and achievement
A professional organised and reflective teaching approach
