The Role
Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Delivering engaging lessons that balance practical performance with academic rigour
Supporting GCSE and A Level coursework and examination preparation
Leading ensembles rehearsals and extracurricular activities
Supporting whole-school productions and performance events
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing targeted intervention strategies
Contributing to curriculum refinement and departmental development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or closely related field
Experience teaching Music at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across performance and theory
High expectations for pupil engagement and behaviour
A professional creative and organised teaching approach
